A new level of PTZ camera performance
Introducing the AW-UE150, a new integrated 4K Pan/Tilt/Zoom (PTZ) remote camera that offers 4K/UHD 60p capture, a first in its broadcast camera class. The UE150 also offers the widest viewing angle (75.1 degrees, horizontal), which is currently the widest in its class. With HDR mode, support for various 4K interfaces and simultaneous 4K/HD output, the AW-UE150 is the perfect remote camera for high-end applications in broadcast, production, corporate, events and staging, education, house of worship and more.
The AW-UE150 features a large 1-inch MOS sensor and 20X optical zoom, as well as seamless intelligent zoom (iZoom). Supported 4K interfaces include 12G-SDI, HDMI, fibre optics and IP. The UE150 is equipped with a larger indicator light for more effective antenna indication when needed, as well as a bold new modern design.
V-LOG video output
The AW-UE150 is the world's first robotic PTZ camera to incorporate support for V-LOG video output, a key feature of high-end film cameras such as the VariCam. The EU150's ability to produce images in LOG format opens up a wide range of video production possibilities. The wide dynamic range and colour gamut provide images suitable for colour calibration, which helps to facilitate video image consistency and enables colour matching with Netflix-approved VariCam cinema cameras and the AK-UC4000 broadcast camera system.
The robotic camera's V-LOG output mode allows video to be output from the LOG profile via 12G-SDI, 3G-SDI, monitor output and HDMI. In addition, two types of settings, V-LOG and V-709, can be selected independently per output interface. This allows simultaneous output of V-LOG 4K video for colour calibration and V-709 full-HD video for on-site camera monitoring.
Viewing the complete scene
The widest horizontal angle of 75.1 degrees of the AW-UE150, the widest in its class, gives you phenomenal video range, allowing you to capture the entire shot in theatres, stadiums and conference rooms, despite the limitations of the installation space you may encounter.
Equipped with a night mode for infrared shooting. The use of IR rays in low-light situations makes it possible to take pictures in situations that would normally be difficult, such as capturing wild animals (the image is in black and white).
Incredible pan and tilt performance
The pan and tilt functions operate from a minimum speed of 0.08°/s to a maximum of 180°/s in high-speed mode. This speed is approximately three times faster than our current product for fast target capture. In addition, a low noise level of NC35 or less has been ensured during normal mode operation, which is perfect for shooting in quiet environments.
Automatic PTZ camera tracking control
The AW-UE150 PRO PTZ camera is compatible with Panasonic's advanced automatic tracking software/server. Using sophisticated facial and body recognition and depth learning technology, the robotic camera's automatic control solution allows you to accurately track a speaker in a conference room or on a presentation stage.
The automatic camera tracking solution allows for simplified tracking of the presenter without the need for additional props or a lengthy and tedious installation process. In addition to standard automated camera tracking, the latest version of the automatic tracking software uses the 4K cropping function of the UE150 to allow simultaneous tracking of up to three people.
