      The Panasonic cinema camera range

      Compact and lightweight, the AU-EVA1 is tailor-made for freehand filming, but is also suitable for documentaries, events, commercials and music videos. With its compact size and a new 5.7K sensor, the EVA1 is positioned between the VariCam LT and the LUMIX S1H, making it ideal for a variety of cinema-style acquisition and filming applications.

      5.7K Super 35mm lens

      Our compact and lightweight cinema camera, the AU-EVA1, contains a new 5.7K Super 35mm (5720x3016, approx. 17.25 million pixels) sensor designed to capture true cinematic images. Starting at a higher native resolution, the 5.7K sensor generates a higher resolution image when sampled at 4K, UHD, 2K and even 720p. The increased colour information results in a finer, more accurate final image.

      Professional features

      As a professional video production tool, the EVA1 offers two balanced XLR audio inputs with Dolby Audio encoding ™. 4K compatible video outputs in HDMI and SDI. where each can be adjusted separately, allowing the HDD to be fed to a third-party viewfinder or monitor while 4K is sent to an external recorder or monitor. Timecode in / out is also supported on the EVA1 unlike some other devices in its class. With the addition of the AJ-WM50 WiFi adapter, all functions of the EVA1 menu can be remotely controlled on IOS or Android using the dedicated application.
